Drop Rates[]
Habits[]
- Rage: Will stomp and let out a roar that will not affect players. Black smoke clouds can been seen around his general mouth and wyvern fangs
- Weak Sign: Instant Rage from a hit after recovering from his previous rage phase.
Attack[]
- Burrow: Diablos will burrow into the ground and hid itself. Standing to close to its body will mean taking damage.
- Dig Attack: A trademark attack, Diablos will unburrow itself and surpirse players who do not get out of the way. There are two variants. The first and most common will be following towards a player, after a couple of seconds of being underground. The second variant will have Diablos charging underground immediatly towards a player, catching them off guard.
- Scream: Will release an ultra high pitch scream, only avoidable by High Grade earplugs and blocking it. It has a similar effect as a Sonic Bomb item, making Cephalos flail out of the sand.
- Hipcheck: Diablos will hipcheck towards a player.
- Bite: Diablos will bite at a player.
- Tail Swipe: Diablos will initiate a tailswipe, swinging from his right side reaching his wings, then towards the left side to his face. Note, this attack is common after charges, and players following behind may be hit. Blos will also tailswipe after an attack or turning, but is less common.
- Charge: After Reving itself up, Blos will charge towards the direction he's facing. It may end in two ways. First, it will slide as it is stopping itself. The other will have him stop short, and thrust with his horns.
- Stepping: Standing too close to its feet will get you hit :(
Migration Patterns[]
- Will Generally start off in Area 7 of the desert. If hit before noticing a hunter, it will migrate often towards Area 3 and 2. Also may go to 9, 5 and 1.
- Other than that, it will only be in those 6 map areas in Desert.
